Animalada, Seville Animation Festival / Animalada, Festival de Animación de Sevilla


From next October 15 to October 18, it will be celebrated the second edition of Animalada, Seville Animation Festival. I'm proud to be the co-director of this festival and share this resposability with Pablo Márquez one year more.

 This edition we have invited to Animalada to: some animation studios and related companies from Seville on October 15, Maxi Díaz (animator director at Lightbox Entertainment) on October 16, Ursula Garcia (productor at The Frank Barton Co) on October 17 and Julio Lorenzo ( currently animator at MacGuff) on October 18. Moreover people will can meet 3 workshops: How to Create a Web Serie (on October 15), How to model characters for animation (on October 16) and Introduction to Unity3D (on October 17).

On the other hand, we have launched a new section: the animation short film contest. We had received more than 350 shorts, where we will choose 10 finalist and the Jury will select 1 winner for the Best Short Animated Film 2014, Jury Award and the audience we will select the winner for the Best Short Animated Film 2014, Audience Award.

Finally, we will screen some animation films for the youngest in colaboration with Fnac Seville.

Desde el 15 al 18 de octubre, se celebrará la segunda edición de Animalada, Festival de Animación de Sevilla. Estoy orgullosa de codirigir este festiva y compartir la responsabilidad un año más con Pablo Márquez.

Esta edición hemos invitado a Animalada a: el 15 de cotubre algunos estudios y empresas del sector de la animación en Sevilla, el 16 de octubre a Maxi Díaz (director de Animación en Lightbox Entertainment), el 17 de octubre a Ursula García (productora de The Frank Barton Co)y el 18 de octubre a Julio Lorenzo ( animador actualmente en MacGuff). Además hemos organizado 3 workshops: Como crear una webserie (15 octubre), Cómo Modelar un Personaje para Animación (16 de octubre) e Introducción a Unity 3D (17 de octubre).

Por otra parte, hemos lanzado una nueva sección: el concurso de cortos de animación. Hemos recibido más de 350 cortometrajes, de entre los que tendremos que elegir 10 finalistas y el Jurado seleccionará 1 ganador y para el Premio del Jurado y los asistentes seleccionarán el ganador del Premio del Público.

Finalmente, proyectaremos películas apra el público más joven en colaboración con Fnac Sevilla.
